Healing Centered Educational Sovereignty Intro Course

Understanding historical and intergenerational resilience is critical in our ability to support and nurture children who have experienced interpersonal violence and/or collective trauma. Moving from a focus on what trauma is and how it has affected us also to include Indigenous ways of knowing and healing, using traditional and mind-body medicine provides educational-based interventions and offers real hope and change. This workshop will give research-based information and experiential-based hands-on activities for individuals, groups, and communities. Mind-body medicine is evidence-based, inclusive, accessible, affordable, and sustainable and can be infused with your Tribal Nation’s culture, traditions, and language, making it your own.
